Havern Hideaway

Havern Hideaway, is nestled conveniently near to four of Cornwall’s fantastic beaches;
• Perranporth Beach – probably the longest beach in Cornwall, and with the UK’s only beach bar the Watering Hole, which is a great location for refreshments after that long coastal walk, and regularly hosts live music events on the beach!
• Crantock Beach - With it’s famous sand dunes, and the Gannel estuary it’s perfect for paddle boarding and those lazy family summer days on the beach.
• Holywell Bay – Stunning bay, with great beach and imposing cliffs and no doubt the reason they picked this location to film the Cornish classic Poldark. Continuing the TV theme, Holywell has some Westeros connections having been a set for the House of the Dragon and it’s more celebrated cousin The Game of Thrones.
• Polly Joke Beach – A little known beach, but definitely a hidden gem and great for those quieter days and secluded picnics on the beach.
• All of the beaches are great for sun-bathing, surfing, body boarding and swimming!
Havern Hideaway is a brand new Eco Home located in Goonhavern, just outside of Newquay and the famous surfing mecca of Fistral beach. Havern Hideaway is a 3 bedroomdetached home, with Super King Size and King Size beds which can easily sleep 6 people or 2 families, as the Super King splits into 2 singles. Havern Hideaway has under floor heating, an air pump heating system and solar panels, which is finished to a high standard with integrated Blue Tooth sound system in the kitchen, chrome USB charging points and superfast broadband wi-fi, perfect for a holiday or working break!
Our large rear garden is south facing and has sun all day, withan extensive patio, and use of multiple outdoor furniture:
• Large corner L-shaped rattan corner sofa, great for barbeques after the beach - with a table and 3 stools – seating upto 9
• A rattan table and chairs - for breakfast, lunch or coffee in a morning seating upto 4
• An Egg-Chair perfect for reading and relaxing
• Plus 2 x Cantilever umbrellas to give you shade where needed
Havern Hideaway is ‘Pet Friendly’ with 2-3 small dogs or 1 medium sized dog allowed, there’s dog beds and throws provided, so no need to bring those extras, but if your dog likes it’s own comforts, then please bring your own. Dogs are only allowed downstairs, with the whole ground floor being fitted out with top quality hardwearing Karndean flooring. The large rear garden is fully enclosed with a 6ft fencing down each side and 4ft fencing at the end, which is perfect to let the dogs run round to their hearts content. With our neighbours in mind, dogs are not allowed to be left on their own in the house. As dog owners ourselves it drove us mad when we went on holiday for all the extra dog charges, so at Havern Hideaway there is a small extra surcharge for the dogs of £5 per dog per week.
We have a ‘No Smoking / Vaping’ policy inside the property, we would appreciate if you can please respect this policy.
Havern Hideaway has a very spacious garage attached, with a drive that fits 2 cars easily. In the garage there are badminton, bowls, fishing and crabbing kits for the kids!
For the Hikers and Bikers, there is the ‘Saints Trail’ close by which connects Goonhavern to Perranporth, utilising a trainline for the old ‘Tin Mines’, great for a slow or fast trip to the beach, and maybe stopping for a quick refreshment at the Bolingey Inn or the Black Flag Brewery on the way!
